Spring Valley search warrant leads to arrest after deputies seize guns, narcotics, stolen vehicles and fraud equipment

High-risk warrant served on Del Rio Road
San Diego County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 34-year-old man in Spring Valley after serving what authorities described as a high-risk search warrant at a residence in the 10300 block of Del Rio Road near Sweetwater Springs Boulevard. The warrant was executed at about 6 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, as part of an investigation that drew resources from multiple specialized units.
Personnel involved included the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail, Narcotics Task Force, Financial Crime Unit and the Rancho San Diego Sheriff’s Station. Authorities said a four-legged robotic platform was deployed before entry to check for threats and confirm the area was safe.
Weapons and drugs recovered during the search
Deputies reported seizing more than 20 firearms and firearm parts, along with military-style armored vests. Investigators also reported recovering large quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
The man was booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of crimes connected to illegal possession of narcotics and firearms, along with suspected fraud-related offenses. Authorities did not release additional details about the arrest circumstances or any potential court dates at the time of the announcement, and the investigation was described as ongoing.
Stolen-property finds include Home Depot rental truck
In addition to weapons and narcotics, deputies reported recovering several vehicles believed to be stolen. Items listed by authorities included two motorcycles and a Home Depot rental truck. Investigators also recovered a toy-hauler trailer that authorities said had not yet been reported as stolen at the time it was located.
Authorities did not announce how long the vehicles had been missing, where they were taken from, or whether they were connected to other theft investigations. Deputies also did not specify whether any of the vehicles had been altered or re-identified.
Fraud equipment described as a “small lab”
Investigators said they also found what they described as a small fraud lab at the property, allegedly used to create counterfeit license plates and other items. Fraud tools of this type can be used to obscure vehicle identity, complicate recovery of stolen property, and interfere with routine traffic-enforcement checks, though authorities did not provide a technical breakdown of what equipment was recovered or whether the materials had been used in additional crimes.
