Health Advisory: Beach Water Quality and Safety
The San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality has updated water safety statuses for several coastal areas as of March 1. Due to elevated bacteria levels that exceed state health standards, the public is advised to avoid water contact at the following locations:

- Carlsbad: Batiquitos Lagoon Outlet (150 feet north and south).
- Mission Bay: Campland beachline.

Additionally, the annual statewide mussel quarantine remains in effect, prohibiting the recreational harvest of mussels for human consumption along the entire San Diego County coastline.
Public Health: Measles and Medication Updates
The California Health Alert Network (CAHAN) San Diego continues to monitor public health developments following the February 18 advisory regarding increased measles activity across California.
